How do I delete a tenant row?
Deleting a tenant row in SimplifyEm.com Property Management Software is straightforward. Follow these steps to remove a tenant’s information and associated data:
Step 1: Select the Tenant Row
- Select the tenant row you want to delete on the worksheet.
- Click the “Delete” button located at the right end of the row.
Step 2: Confirm the Deletion
- If no transactions have been recorded for the tenant, the tenant row will be automatically deleted from the worksheet.
- If there are any recorded transactions (like rent payments or other charges), a dialog box will appear:
- Select “Remove” in the dialog box to confirm.
- Click OK to proceed.
Important Considerations:
- Deleting a tenant row will also delete all associated lease terms and any recorded rent payments from SimplifyEm.com.
- Make sure you no longer need the tenant’s data before confirming the deletion, as all entries will be permanently removed from the worksheet.
