The firm began in the 1980\'s as part of a diversified commercial and residential real estate management organization, Mr. Hickman and Ms. Wert recognized that condominium associations required a more finely tuned company structure. Community Specialists was formed to focus entirely on the management of quality high-rise condominium associations located in Lake Shore area markets. To better direct the firm\'s attention, Community Specialists is further defined by what it does not do: we do not manage smaller or suburban condominium associations.
