Desert Realty was established in 1973. The Robertson family purchased the company in 1980. By 1983 C. Terry Robertson, broker, was in the process of converting the sales agency to a property management company. Although Desert Realty is licensed as a full service real estate company, over 85% of its income is derived from property management. Desert Realty has always specialized in the management of single-family homes and small apartment complexes. In fact, Desert Realty was one of the first companies in the state to primarily manage single-family houses. Today, the company manages over 1100 homes in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. This is accomplished with 15 employees working full time in property management. Seven of our employees have been employed by Desert Realty ten years or longer, with the longest term being 24 years.
