Fountainhead Development Inc. (FDI), established in 1985, is the largest real estate developer and hospitality organization in Fairbanks. We own and manage four hotels, over half of a million square feet of commercial leasing space, and a year-round commercial construction division. FDI\'s hotels include Sophie Station Hotel, Wedgewood Resort, Bear Lodge (located on the grounds of Wedgewood Resort) and the Bridgewater Hotel. Between these four properties, there are 700 hotel rooms, four restaurants, two lounges, one internet cafe & gift shop, and a beautiful convention facility. Our current construction projects include the Wedgewood Wildlife Sanctuary (at Wedgewood Resort) scheduled to open this fall (2008) and the Fountainhead Antique Auto Collection - to be housed at Wedgewood Resort (open 2009). We staff of over 175 year round employees and over 200 additional seasonal employees in a variety of jobs from construction to restaurants and hotels!
