Before founding Stream, Mike McVean and Lee Belland worked together in office leasing at Trammell Crow Company in Dallas. Building on their success, the two friends and colleagues set out to realize their vision of the real estate business as a "people business." In September 1996, they joined forces to create Stream Realty Partners.
