Roy Jackson, ARM® - Roy began his property management career in Houston, Texas in 1989 as onsite Assistant Manager and was quickly promoted to Property Manager in early 1990. In 1992 Roy received the coveted ARM® designation and served as Chairman of the Board for the Houston ARM® Chapter from 1992 to 1994. In 1994 he graduated from HCC with Associate Degree in Business. Roy was promoted to Regional Training Director for Transwestern Property Company in 1993 and traveled all over the United States training other Property Managers and onsite staff in management, marketing and leasing. In 1996 Roy accepted a position as Dallas Regional Manager for a company based in Austin, Texas. Roy remained employed with this company until 2002 when the owner of the company, encouraged him to open his own management company. Currently, Roy handles all acquisitions and dispositions, works closely with the in state and out of state investors and oversees the day to day operations of Sungate Management, Inc. Roy served as the 2007 Chairman for the Dallas ARM® Chapter and he is a CPM® Candidate
