Since 1981, Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) has been committed to making the Tenderloin a better place to live. We provide safe, affordable housing and support services in order to lay the foundation for a better quality of life for low-income people in San Francisco’s Tenderloin community. At TNDC, we know that housing is the foundation on which people build their lives. And we know that due to the high cost of living in San Francisco, many low-income indviduals, seniors, and families are forced to choose between paying rent and other necessities like food and healthcare. We own and operate 30 affordable housing buildings serving 3,000 tenants in the Tenderloin and adjacent neighborhoods... and with 11 projects in our housing development pipeline, we will make over 1,250 affordable units available for homeless and extremely low-income San Franciscans in the next few years.
