Can I make a One time Payment using Simplifyem.com’s Online Rent Payment option?
Yes, you can make a one-time payment using SimplifyEm.com’s Online Rent Payment feature. This functionality allows tenants to log in to their Tenant Portal and easily initiate a one-time payment for their rent or other charges.
Here’s how the One-Time Payment feature works:
Enabling One-Time Payments: The Landlord or Property Manager must enable the One-Time Payment option for the tenant. This can be done either while inviting the tenant for Online Rent Payment (during new ORP activation) or for tenants who already have ORP activated. For existing tenants, the landlord can enable one-time payments from the “Take Actions” menu in the Tenant Center.
For New ORP Activation:
1. Navigate to Tenants > Tenant Center from your left dashboard.
2. Click on Online Payments (highlighted in green) next to the tenant’s name to set up Online Rent Payments.
3. Check the box next to “Allow One-Time Payment” to enable this feature for the tenant.
For Already ORP Active Tenants:
- Navigate to Tenants > Tenant Center from your left dashboard.
- Click the Take Actions dropdown, then select Configure Payment Settings.
- Check the box next to “Allow One-Time Payment” to enable this feature for the tenant.
Once enabled, tenants can log in to their Tenant Portal and make a one-time payment whenever needed, providing them with flexibility and convenience in managing their rental obligations.
