When you initially set up your bank account in the system, SimplifyEm.com verifies the account details by making two small deposits into your bank account. These deposits are typically just a few cents and serve as a confirmation tool to verify that the account information entered is correct.
Once these small deposits appear in your bank account, you will need to log into your SimplifyEm.com account and enter the exact amounts of the deposits. This step confirms that you have access to the bank account and that the account number and routing details provided are accurate. By correctly entering these deposit amounts, you validate the account setup and confirm that all future rental payments will be directed to the correct account.
You can verify your bank account using the deposits from Tenants tab >> Tenant Center
