How to Pay Rent with Bank Account?
To pay rent using a bank account through SimplifyEm, tenants can easily set up their payment preferences within the Tenant Portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Log into the Tenant Portal:
Once logged into your tenant portal, navigate to the payment section where you can manage your rent payments.
Set Up Bank Account:
If you haven’t added your bank account details yet, you’ll need to do so by selecting the option to add a bank account. Enter your bank account information, including the account number and routing number. This will link your bank account to the system for rent payments.
Verify Bank Account:
To verify your bank account, SimplifyEm will send two small deposits to your account. Once received, log back into your Tenant Portal and enter the deposit amounts to confirm your account.
Schedule or Make a Payment:
Once your bank account is verified, you can either set up automatic payments or make a one-time manual payment. Select the amount due, confirm the payment, and submit.
Confirmation:
After completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation email, and the payment will be processed through your bank account on the next business day.
This process ensures a smooth, hassle-free method for paying rent directly from your bank account.
