Can I setup rent reminders for my tenant with online rent payment?

Yes, SimplifyEm Property Management Software allows you to set up automated rent reminders for your tenants to help ensure timely payments. This feature makes rent collection easier by notifying tenants in advance of their due dates, thus reducing late payments.

To set up rent reminders for your tenants with SimplifyEm’s online rent payment system, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your SimplifyEm account.

2. From the dashboard, navigate to Tenants > Bulk Actions > Setup Rent Reminders.



3. Click on Message Text under Step 1 to customize your email. 



4. On Step 2, please use the bulk options to Select Tenants.



5. Click on the blue arrow next to each property to select a specific tenant from one or more properties.



6. Upon selecting the tenants, you can review the document using the Previewoption across each tenant’s row.



7. Once done, you can click on the Setup Email Rent Reminders.



8. Click OK from the pop-up message to complete the setup.

9. Also, you can click on Publish Rent Reminders and click OK to publish the Rent Reminder Document to the tenant’s portal.

Once set, SimplifyEm will automatically send an email reminder to your tenant before their rent is due, along with a pdf document. This process streamlines rent collection and helps keep both you and your tenants on track.

This feature not only helps you stay organized but also ensures that your tenants are well informed, minimizing missed payments and late fees.
