How do I create an account on the Tenant Portal?

Tenants cannot create an account directly. Instead, the Owner or Property Manager (PM) needs to invite the tenant to set up their account. Here's how:

  1. The Owner/PM logs into SimplifyEm and navigates to the Tenant Center page.

  2. They click on the "Setup Tenant Portal" link.

  3. An email invitation is sent to the tenant with a link to create their account.Tenants should follow the link in the email to complete the setup process.

Can I pay my rent online through the portal?

Yes! Tenants can pay rent conveniently online through the Tenant Portal. Payment options include:

  • Bank account or credit card payments

  • One-time payments or automatic recurring payments

Note: The availability of these options depends on whether the Owner/PM has enabled Online Payment for the tenant.

How can I view my payment history?

Tenants can view their payment history by logging into the Tenant Portal. All online rent payment records are available for easy tracking and reference.

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Submitting maintenance requests is simple and can be done directly through the portal:

  1. Log in to your Tenant Portal account.

  2. Navigate to the Task Center and click on "Add Task".

  3. Enter the necessary details for your request and save it.

Once submitted, the request will appear in the Property Manager’s account for review and action.

Can I access the portal on my mobile device?

Yes, the SimplifyEm Tenant Portal is optimized for mobile devices. You can access it via your preferred browser or by using the SimplifyEm Property Management Software’s Mobile Application, available on both Android and iOS devices.
